Now hiring:  Technical Sales Associate

Learn about the business of biotechnology and basic research as a Technical Sales Associate at ICT. Sell and promote ICT’s products and services to the life science market, including academic researchers, industrial customers, and governmental entities. Service and maintain current customer base, establish new accounts, and generate sales leads. Manage and maintain key customer accounts. Become proficient in explaining ICT’s product features and benefits to a wide audience. Help monitor competition and business landscape and make recommendations for continuous improvement of scientific product lines. Manage and enhance ICT’s distributor network of 40 national and international companies. Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports. Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or sales or marketing and/or a minimum of one year of sales/ marketing experience in life sciences or related healthcare or medical industries. We will consider recent college graduates with the right combination of tenacity, drive, leadership, and technical knowledge. Must have excellent communication skills. Possibility for travel (up to 25%). The coworker is regularly required to use hands with good manual dexterity to handle items, type, and utilize equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Now hiring:  Laboratory Production Associate

Learn about scientific manufacturing techniques and the business of biotechnology as a Laboratory Production Associate at ICT. The primary focus of this position is to manufacture and QC buffers, reagents, and biological testing kits following GLP/GMP documentation. This involves: measuring and mixing chemicals; filtration of liquid products; calculating molarity; testing pH, conductivity, and absorbance; entering data and analyzing results; assembling and labeling components into their final packaging; and maintaining cell cultures using aseptic techniques. Experiments will be analyzed with: spectrophotometric and fluorescence plate readers; a flow cytometer; and a fluorescence microscope. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the stock of chemicals, cleaning, shipping products to distributors, and general laboratory and office duties. This is an entry-level laboratory position, yet is critical to ICT’s success and demands great attention to detail. Candidates must have good laboratory skills, be computer literate, and be able to transcribe data with accuracy. Candidates must have a 4 year degree with an emphasis in biological sciences. Preference will be given to highly responsible candidates with laboratory experience. The coworker is regularly required to use hands with good manual dexterity to handle items, type, and utilize equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The coworker may also be required to stand or sit for long periods and lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs.
